About the role

An experienced administrator needed to join our clients Depot in Nelson/Tasman on a permanent, fulltime basis who will help the team with the administrative support where required and to provide a friendly and professional client interface while ensuring the efficient running of the business unit.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-known and progressive South Island contracting company with interesting projects around the Nelson/Tasman region. Gain further experience and personal development working with a progressive company in a supportive and fun environment.

Duties

  • Document Management, data entry, and accurate reporting
  • Organizing and maintaining work schedules using scheduling software
  • Ability to process invoices and purchase orders, maintain records and receipts
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, in particular Word and Outlook

Skills and Experience

  • Sound keyboard skills and additional software literacy
  • Effective and timely communication, both written and verbal
  • Work successfully in a team environment
  • Excellent time management including work prioritization and ability to multi-task
  • Great attention to detail, showing thoroughness and accuracy
  • Ability to foresee challenges, read situations and respond effectively
  • Excellent ability to build and maintain strong, collaborative working relationships
